Nomad Starter Box Assemble!

Finished assembling the starter box. I’m quite impressed with the quality of the models, only 1 piece had noticeable mold lines, and the flashing was easily removed. I will note, that due to the way the arms attach to the bodies, it can be a bit difficult to get the two arms to line up so that the arm without a gun lines up right. Probably would have been better using the gel loctite that I’m fond of over the regular liquid stuff. Well that and letting the first arm bond and set longer.

I will note! That if you ever assemble these minis, be prepared to pin the female Alguacile’s arms. They are tiny, and have very little surface to surface contact. I’m not optimistic about the hold strength of just glue – but time will make a fool of me no doubt.

That’s one box down, 2 and a blister to go. If things go well I’ll have most of the models done by Thursday so I can use them at GGTH and play my first (hopefully couple) of game(s).

And with that, I’m out for the night. I should probably do the sleep thing so I don’t sleep at work.
